Is Caroline Lyders leaving Channel 12?

Caroline Lyders, who anchors the morning news on Channel 12 and made some news by dating "American Idol" star Taylor Hicks, could be on the brink of making more news.
The Boston Herald reported that Lyders has interviewed for the anchor position of the "EyeOpener" newscast on WCVB-TV, the ABC affiliate in Boston.
Lyders could not be reached for comment Friday.
Lyders, who joined Channel 12 in 2004, was the subject of a Milwaukee Talks interview in May.
