Lex and Emmit's coming to Water Street

Milwaukee's favorite midget, Steve Vento, didn't last long with his recent bar Ripples on Water, 530 N. Water St. But the space is now rebuilt and, with a garage door front and new owners, opens as Lex on Water on Saturday, Aug. 7. Call them at (414) 628-1232.
In other Water Street news, Emmit's Irish Pub, from Chicago, will open in the former Stout Brothers space in fall.
