Jazz vocalist Ellen Winters made her theater debut in "A Cudahy Caroler Christmas" this month, but her run as Edna has been cut short. Winters tore an Achilles tendon and will be replaced by Milwaukee Rep company member Laurie Birmingham.
The show features traditional Christmas songs with a twist. The Cudahy Choir reunites for a "tale of bowling, beer, friendship and forgiveness."
"A Cudahy Caroler Christmas" runs at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts through Dec. 31. Tickets are $25 to $30.
