According to a sign on the door, Abu's Jerusalem restaurant, 1978 E. Farwell Ave., has closed, but will reopen by the end of April, after renovation work is completed.
Abu's has been serving falafel sandwiches, rosewater lemonade and a host of other Middle Eastern delights for more than 30 years. It is the oldest Middle Eastern restaurant in Milwaukee.
