Two members of the OnMilwaukee.com team, Caroline McDonald and John Hyland, along with a group of their friends have a cool event for your consideration tonight.
"Think Pink," begins at 8 p.m. at Moct, 240 E. Pittsburgh Ave. Proceeds from the $20 minimum suggested cover and silent auction will help a team of Milwaukee residents raise money to participate in the Chicago Breast Cancer 3-Day race in August. Each member of the team -- they call themselves the "Brew City Boobie Backers" -- must raise a minimum of $2,200 to participate in the three-day, 60-mile walk benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
Think Pink will feature two complimentary Rehorst drinks, appetizers and desserts from area restaurants, late-night pizza courtesy of Calderone Club, raffle and auction items from Shag, Bartolotta's, Mo's, Fred/Red Heel, Lela, Laacke & Joys, White Sage Spa, the Milwaukee Brewers, Fred Astaire Dance Studio, and much more.
Free valet parking, too, from Downtown Auto Parking.
Live acoustic music from members of The Cocksmiths and Freshwater Collins, a special performance by a surprise guest, and DJ Erich are all on the ticket.
