Bar Louie closing temporarily

Bar Louie, a national chain bar and grill that opened at 1114 N. Water St. in August 2006, is reportedly closing until Sept. 5 due to failure to file its liquor license in time.
Milwaukee Ald. Robert Baumann confirmed this today and added, "They are not legally precluded from serving food. They are not required to close. They are only precluded from serving and selling alcohol."
Bar Louie has another area location at Bayshore Town Center in Glendale.
